Are you ready to experience a long weekend of self-care with a gigantic dose of laughter, creativity, fun, mindfulness, connection and food?
With everything that has been happening in the world, I am sure there are many of you like myself that are itching to travel and getaway. I thought I could take you all to beautiful Vermont to slowly ease your way into seeing the world again.
We will be in the Burlington, VT area creating art projects, doing some meditation, visiting some antique/thrift stores and doing some sight seeing.
It is happening:
APRIL 28th to May 1st, 2022
Our mission for this retreat is to bring a group of women together to create a beautiful space for us to express ourselves completely, authentically and freely. This is a weekend for relaxation, self-care, fun, creativity and for creating lifelong friendships with other beautiful women.
Our picturesque getaway will be in a charming home nestled directly on the shores of Lake Champlain. We will enjoy direct lakefront access (with the possibility of kayaking) or you can simply sit back on the screened-in porch and admire the view! It will be shared accommodations and we will get to cozy up to a wood-burning fireplace in the evenings. You’ll create unforgettable moments in this special North Hero home!
All breakfasts, lunches, some snacks and beverages are included. Dinners are the only thing that are not included but there are a variety of restaurants to fit every budget. We will likely hit Burlington for a couple dinners.
We’ve got you taken care of for the entire weekend! I will be driving everyone down in my mini van so all you need to do is pack your comfy clothes and a couple cute dinner outfits and let me take care of the rest.
The weather is decent at that time of year in Vermont and is typically around 16°C to 22°C so jut pack layers.
The lovely Mary Heinrich Aloi will be our guest teacher.
Mary lives in Burlington Vermont where she owns Vintage Inspired Lifestyle Marketplace, which is a multi-dealer marketplace for antiques dealers, artists and craftspeople. She has a truly inspired eye and her shop is a haven for hunters, pickers and art lovers. We will likely dropping into her shop while we are down there.
Some of you may know Mary from previous retreats but this time she will be teaching an Amulet workshop.
Amulet, also called Talisman, an object, either natural or man-made, believed to be endowed with special powers to protect or bring good fortune.
In this class we will each make our personnel amulet either as a pin or a
necklace. It is made from vintage scraps and adornments which will all be
